DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and participating in projects, JDIs (Just Do Its), kaizens, and utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools to improve processes.

  • Identify short, mid, and long-term wins that will transform the culture and produce results.

  • Coach and mentor personnel at all levels of the organization on Continuous Improvement characteristics.

  • Responsible for executing a lean transformation plan that provides delivery of goals and metrics including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Output, Cycle reduction / Inventory Reduction.

  • Provide event follow-up to monitor the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, appropriate support, and achievement of expected tangible benefits.

  • Must be able to communicate across the organization at all levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership level.

  • Provide program management including the implementation, deployment and sustaining of CI improvements and change management initiatives. Must be able to assist others in removing obstacles which may otherwise impede success.

  • Must be able to bring conflicting ideas together, creating an environment that fosters collaboration among competing viewpoints and against cultural norms.

  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and eleven or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least five of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

  • Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets

  • Knowledge of GA-ASI organizations, processes, and products preferred

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

  • Must have strong leadership skills, independent and unbiased, capable of quickly gaining trust and loyalty and inspiring/coaching others toward achievements, while developing positive and effective working relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers, customers and others

  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, influence and collaborate at the leadership level

  • Must be an effective team player with excellent coaching skills and the ability to encourage and motivate others to be successful

  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and excel in analyzing relevant and essential facts

  • Must be able to multi-task and adapt to a quick changing environment

  • Must display eagerness to investigate and the ability to make sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems by effectively weighing risks, uncertainties, and assumptions.
