DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to perform a variety of routine tasks and demonstrate full knowledge of avionics and electrical equipment procedures, theories and concepts.

  • Participate in Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), ground control station, maintenance, repair, and documentation of repairs and status.

  • Performs and/or assists in modification, fabrication, assembly, operations, installation, repair and maintenance of general laboratory, experimental and commercial equipment.

  • Sets up and checks on semi-routine experiments and tests according to pre-arranged procedures; records experimental data.

  • Perform testing and documentation in accordance with customer regulations when applicable, utilizing approved technical publications, maintenance standards, and approved procedures.

  • Perform component removal , replacement, testing and documentation in accordance with military regulations, technical orders and procedures.

  • Ability to read and understand schematics, operate oscilloscopes, and other standard electronic test equipment.

  • Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.

  • Training and/or experience in test or experimental operations normally acquired in the military or technical schools desirable.

  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Predator/Reaper avionics, RF and field service experience.

  • Experience in the aircraft electronics field.

Job Qualifications:

  • Typically requires associate's degree or equivalent with five or more years of experience.

  • May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

  • Must possess: (1) ability to troubleshoot; (2) full knowledge and use of precision electronic test equipment, voltage or amperage measuring and recording devices; (3) ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical orders; (4) the ability to obtain a security clearance; and (5) good analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and assess situations and make judgments.

  • Ability and willingness to work on systems which have unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials.

  • Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.
